Agenda Item Title:

17TP032 - Staff requests City Council authorization to advertise a request for proposals to update the existing aerial photography and building footprints, during the spring of 2018, for areas inside the Rapid City Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (RCMPO) and developing areas in Pennington County. Federal dollars fund nearly 82% of the area inside the RCMPO. The balance of the estimated $120,000 budget for the project will come from funds currently identified in the 2018 GIS Division budget. The RFP is expected to be released in early November 2017.
