Change Order No. 1 addresses adjustments to the Water Reclamation Facility South Plant Improvements Construction Package 2 project due to unforeseen soil conditions, operational enhancements, and project credits. Specifically, the change order includes, Installation of geo-textile fabric in select locations to mitigate soil settlement caused by unsuitable soil conditions. Providing additional concrete piers to the South Electrical Building due to unforeseen soil conditions. Inclusion of value-added items identified during the submittal review process to improve daily operations. Contract adjustments reflecting cost savings identified during schedule development, creation of the schedule of values and value engineering.
