The applicant is requesting to subdivide 839 Glenside Street into two lots and has submitted a request to waive all required subdivision improvements for Homestead Street and Glenside Street. The request was partially approved: -The requirement for additional pavement, curb, and gutter on Homestead Street was waived. -The requirement for curb and gutter on Glenside Street was also waived. However, the request to waive paving on Glenside Street was denied. A 20-foot asphalt section is required per City standards and fire code. Additional considerations: -There have been multiple drainage complaints in the area due to the lack of ditches and storm sewers. -The area already has more than 40 homes with only one access point, so City Council approval is needed to add another lot. -There are no sidewalks in the area, so either a sidewalk must be installed, or a variance must be approved by City Council.
