A request was received in the Engineering Office on March 05, 2020 requesting the requirement to install sidewalk along Cambell Street per City of Rapid City Ordinance 12.08.060 be waived. A five-foot wide sidewalk is required to be constructed along Cambell Street, at the time of building permit, with the property having approximately 1275 feet of frontage along Cambell Street. The properties along the east side of Cambell Street are developed along with said property, City Council granted a variance when the property pulled the first building permit. Public Works staff recommends Approval of the sidewalk variance request.
