Agenda Item Summary:
This Agreement contains the terms and conditions under which the City agrees to assume ownership of the water system that serves the Mesa View Subdivision. The system is currently owned and operated by the Mesa View Water Users Association, Inc. The system’s current water source has water quality issues and needs to be replaced. The City will be building a new water distribution system to serve the subdivision as part of the East Rapid City Water Expansion because the existing water system is not in conformance with City criteria. The water system will be transferred without monetary consideration.
