Agenda Item Summary:
In 2010 Council passed Resolution #2010-165 a construction fee resolution placing fees upon properties in Homestead Subdivision to recoup fees paid for an oversize 16 inch water main in Homestead Street. That resolution was corrected in 2011 with $2011-161 to recalculate the construction fees. However, the Project Costs for Tax Increment District Number 68 also included reimbursement to the City for oversize costs for the same water main. Since the City will be reimbursed for the water main from TIF 68, this resolution would repeal the construction fees that were placed on Homestead properties to pay the same costs.
