Agenda Item Summary:
Public Works has worked out an agreement with Hayland, LLC, which owns property south and east of the intersection of Lacrosse Street and Seger Drive. Hayland is willing to trade property adjacent to Seger Drive, which the Public Works Department needs for the Seger Drive Reconstruction, in exchange for property adjacent to Lacrosse Street. In order for the City to complete the transaction, an appraisal by freeholders is needed. The freeholder appraisal is required to dispose of the surplus property acquired by the City adjacent to Lacrosse Street. The agreement for the exchange of property is anticipated to come before the Council at its 4/17/2017 meeting.
