Agenda Item Summary:
The South Dakota Department of Transportation will be constructing the 3rd phase of Mount Rushmore Road. To effectively reconstruct the intersection of Mount Rushmore Road and St. Patrick Street, a full temporary full closure of St. Patrick Street must occur and a detour route will be necessary. The agreement states that the SDDOT will do a survey of the affected streets before and after the detour to identify any damage that may be done to the detour streets and make repairs to the detour route if damage is identified.
