Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Preliminary Subdivision Plan to create two residential lots on the property currently addressed as 5185 Legacy Lane. The proposed development will be known as Lot 6A and Lot 6B of Block 1 of Eastern Acres Subdivision and is within the Earth Drive Road District. The property is outside of the City limits but within the City’s three-mile platting jurisdiction and is located north of Long View Road and south of Legacy Lane. Proposed Lot 6A will be 1.1 acres in size and currently contains a single-family dwelling and a detached garage. Proposed Lot 6B will be 1 acre in size and is currently undeveloped. A Preliminary Subdivision Plan is a tentative plan of a proposed subdivision requiring the installation of public improvements. Approval of a Preliminary Subdivision Plan by City Council is required before an applicant can proceed with Development Engineering Plans and a Final Plat application for all or part of the area within the Preliminary Subdivision Plan application.
