Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Preliminary Subdivision Plan to create 2 lots generally located at 3175 Redwing Lane. The proposed development is comprised of 10.11 acres and is currently developed with a water pump house for Rapid Valley Sanitary District (RVSD), 2 single-family dwellings, and a detached garage. Proposed Lot 3R1 is +/-5.66 acres and contains the RVSD water pump house. Proposed Lot 3R2 is +/-4.45 acres and contains the 2 single-family dwellings and detached garage. The purpose of the subdivision is to allow RVSD to purchase proposed Lot 3R1 where their existing water supply infrastructure is located. A Preliminary Subdivision Plan is a tentative plan of a proposed subdivision requiring the installation of public improvements. Approval of a Preliminary Subdivision Plan by City Council is required before an applicant can proceed with Development Engineering Plans and a Final Plat application for all or part of the area within the Preliminary Subdivision Plan application.
