Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Preliminary Subdivision Plan to create 12 industrial lots and a drainage lot east of S.D Highway 79 and north and south of Old Folsom Road. The proposed development is being created out of three vacant unplatted properties which are approximately 386 acres in size, cumulatively. The proposed lots will range from 2.9 acres to 37.1 acres in size and will be known as Black Hills Industrial Park. A Preliminary Subdivision Plan is a tentative plan of a proposed subdivision requiring the installation of public improvements. Approval of a Preliminary Subdivision Plan by City Council is required before an applicant can proceed with Development Engineering Plans and a Final Plat application for all or part of the area within the Preliminary Subdivision Plan application.
