Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted Phase 1 of a Final Planned Development Overlay to allow residential development on a portion of Lot A of Westhills Village Estates Subdivision generally located west of Fifth Street and south of Minnesota Street in the Medium Density Residential District (MDR). The portion of the property associated with Phase 1 of the Final Planned Development is comprised of 18.9 acres of the 20.9-acre property included in the Initial Planned Development. The remaining 2 acres associated with Phase 2 will be addressed by a subsequent Final Planned Development. The property is currently void of structural development.The applicant is proposing to construct 18 of the 20 duplexes that were approved in the Initial Planned Development #24PD010. The proposed site plan is consistent with the approved site plan for the Initial Planned Development except that the proposed road names and configuration have been updated to meet the stipulations of the Initial Planned Development.
