Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Preliminary Subdivision Plan to create 11 residential lots on the property currently addressed as 8550 Countryside Boulevard. The proposed lots will range from 1.2 acres to 23.3 acres in size and will be known as Lots 1-3 of Block 1 and Lots 1-8 of Block 2 of Falcon Crest 2 Subdivision. The property is located east of the terminus of Countryside Boulevard, which is outside of the City limits but within the City’s three-mile platting jurisdiction. Proposed Lot 1 of Block 2 currently contains a single-family dwelling and a detached garage and the remaining lots are currently void of any structural development. A Preliminary Subdivision Plan is a tentative plan of a proposed subdivision requiring the installation of public improvements. Approval of a Preliminary Subdivision Plan by City Council is required before an applicant can proceed with Development Engineering Plans and a Final Plat application for all or part of the area within the Preliminary Subdivision Plan application.
