Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Preliminary Subdivision Plan to revise the lot boundaries of the property addressed as 4951 Sheridan Lake Road and the northwest adjacent lot to create a new residential property. The proposed lots will be known as Lot 2A and Lot 2B of Sammis Subdivision, and Lot 4A of Chateaux Preserve Subdivision. Proposed Lots 2A and 4B are 1.35 acres and 1.5 acres in size respectively and are currently void of structural development. Proposed Lot 2B is 0.8 acres in size and currently contains a single-family dwelling and an accessory building. A Preliminary Subdivision Plan is a tentative plan of a proposed subdivision requiring the installation of public improvements. Approval of a Preliminary Subdivision Plan by the City Council is required before an applicant can proceed with Development Engineering Plans and a Final Plat application for all or part of the area within the Preliminary Subdivision Plan application.
