The applicant has submitted a Final Planned Development Overlay application to allow an affordable apartment development on a 2.52 acre property zoned Medium Density Residential District, located northwest of the intersection of LaCrosse Street and East Omaha Street. The subject property is currently void of any structural development. The proposed apartment development will be known as The Radiant and will include one 3-story apartment building with a total of 42 units, a playground, community room, computer lab, laundry facility, and on-site property management with supportive services which will be available to all residents free of charge. The intended outcome of the applicant’s services is to promote financially stable residents who can avoid eviction and foster a healthy and inclusive community.
