Agenda Item Summary:
A Major Amendment to a Planned Development Overlay to allow two additional pylon signs application has been received for property located at Rushmore Crossing Shopping Center. Each pylon sign will measure 38 feet, 2 inches tall and 19 feet, 9 inches wide at the base, and will incorporate 378 square feet of signage. One proposed pylon sign will be located at the northwest corner of the drainage lot adjacent to Eglin Street. The other proposed pylon sign will be located at the southwest corner of the intersection of East North Street and Eglin Street. Neither sign will include Light Emitting Diode (LED) signage. The subject property is zoned General Commercial District but is located within a Planned Development Overlay. As such, the applicant has submitted this Major Amendment to a Planned Development Overlay application for the review and approval by the Planning Commission.
