Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Final Planned Development Overlay application to allow a parking lot on the property located at the corner of East Mall Drive and Outfitter Drive. Specifically, the applicant is proposing to construct a 66 stall parking area on the property to serve as overflow parking for the “Sickie’s Garage” restaurant, adjacent to the subject property to the west. The subject property is zoned General Commercial District and is within a Planned Development Designation (File# 07PD007). While a parking area is a permitted use within the General Commercial District, a Final Planned Development Overlay must be submitted for review and approval prior to issuance of a Building Permit for all properties within a Planned Development Designation.
