Agenda Item Summary:
Twice a year, the Council reviews and adjusts various fees associated with permits and services. The Ambulance Division has evaluated its current rates and is proposing revisions that better reflect the actual costs of service delivery. Similarly, the Fire Department has suggested modifications to its fee schedule to account for the time and effort required for permit reviews. Additionally, they are introducing new fees for training services provided to other departments.

The Recreation Division is recommending updates to ice skating fees and adjustments to accommodate new programs at the ice center. A minor revision to the cremation grave charge is also proposed. Lastly, the Solid Waste Division has analyzed competitor landfill fees and is suggesting changes to ensure alignment with industry standards. They also advocate reinstating certain deposits that were previously in place but removed, as these deposits help mitigate the financial burden of uncollected account balances.
