Agenda Item Summary:
The State of South Dakota required law enforcement and first responder agencies to update all mobile radio capabilities to meet national P25 (Project 25) standards. Old and outdated mobile radios are still operable and suitable for non-emergency uses by the Pennington County Highway Department. Such a donation to another political subdivision is authorized by SDCL 6-5-2.
