Staff recommends the Variance to reduce side yard setback to 25 feet in lieu of 10 feet be denied.

A request by Longbranch Civil Engineering, Inc for S.K.Y. Properties LLC to consider an application for a Rezoning request from General Agricultural District to Low Density Residential District I for the S1/2 of the S1/2 of the SE1/4 of Section 14, T1N, R7E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being located east of SD Highway 44.

Staff recommends the Rezoning request from General Agricultural District to Low Density Residential District I be approved.

Staff recommends approval of the Revocation of a Planned Development Designation.

Staff recommends tha the Final Planned Development to allow a mission with no overnight lodging be continued to the August 10, 2023 Planning Commission Meeting.

All appeals must be submitted in writing to the Department of Community Development by close of business on the seventh full calendar day following action by the Planning Commission.

Staff recommends the Final Planned Development Overlay to allow an apartment complex with the stipulations outlined in the Project Report.
