Community Development Hosts 'Coffee With Planners' session

RAPID CITY--The City's Community Development Department hostded the third in a quarterly series of "Coffee With Planners" events May 2 with a room full of planners, developers and interested citizens along with City staff.

            Community Development Director Ken Young initiated the informal coffees last November as a way for the public to learn and ask questions about current and proposed development projects and future city master plans. A coffee event was also held in February.

            "This was our third coffee event in the past several months," said Young.  "The events are informal. and once again, it was well-attended and a great way to share updates as well as exchange ideas, feedback and dialogune on a variety of topics with planners, developers and interested members of the public."
