1. If applicable

Acknowledge 11.1 Reviews – May 27 – July 5, 2017
a) 1116 West Boulevard is a contributing structure in the West Boulevard Historic District. An 11.1 application for a new detached garage was reviewed/approved in December 2016. The applicant submitted a revised roofline plan to ensure the findings were still valid. Staff and SHPO found no adverse effect to the property with the revised plans. June 12, 2017 | 16RS010
b) 1214 West Boulevard is a contributing structure in the West Boulevard Historic District. A permit was requested to replace a basement window on the south side of the house with a larger egress window to facilitate access for necessary foundation repairs. Staff and SHPO found no adverse effect to the proposed project. June 12, 2017 | 17RS008/CIHR17-0017
c) 1004 Saint James Street is a contributing structure in the West Boulevard Historic District. A permit was requested to remove the existing brick staircase and re-build a new staircase using cedar decking and a metal handrail. The new staircase will have egress onto West Boulevard instead of Saint James Street. Staff and SHPO found no adverse effect for the proposed project due to the staircase not being a historic feature, or character defining element, of the property. June 15, 2017 | 17RS009/CIHR17-0018
d) 927 Columbus Street is a non-contributing structure in the West Boulevard Historic District. A permit was requested to replace the existing concrete/brick stoop and replace it with composite decking material to include an enlarged seating area of 6 feet x 12 feet on either side of the stoop/stairs. Staff and SHPO found no adverse effect for the proposed project due to the non-contributing status of the property. June 27, 2017 | 17RS010/CIHR17-0019
