Agenda Item Summary:
Parks and Recreation is requesting authorization for the Mayor and Finance Director to sign professional services agreement for Project No. PR23-6193 Knollwood Park Redevelopment with Wyss Associates in the amount of $62,660.00. The Community Investment Committee and Council has approved allocating CDBG funding for the design and engineering work involved in this project. The consultant selection process took place in August and September and Staff selected Wyss Associates to provide design services. This fee only encompasses the first phase of design work - public input meetings, survey, geotechnical investigation, wetland delineation, and schematic design, etc. Once the scope of the necessary improvements is better understood, Parks and Recreation will negotiate with Wyss Associates for services to include design development, construction documentation, bidding and construction administration.
