Rapid City Street Department Is Requesting Approval To Apply For, And Accept, South Dakota Department Of Agriculture And Natural Resources (SDDANR) Volkswagen Settlement Grant For Up To A 45% Reimbursement To Purchase Equipment Certified To Meet CARB’s Low-NOx Standards. This Grant Would Allow The City To Purchase A New, More Eco-Friendly Snow Plow Truck To Assist In Our Snow Removal Efforts. Street Department Has Budgeted At $197,000.00 For The City Share Of This Purchase.
