Agenda Item Summary:
The City owns property on all sides of this parcel. This acquisition will allow greater opportunity for improving the adjacent hairpin turn. There is a Project scheduled for the year 2023 for safety and drainage improvements along with pavement maintenance for this section of Skyline Drive and this acquisition is needed due to lack of right-of-way. In addition, the Parks Department master plan of the area shows future trails immediately south of this property and the acquisition will allow additional flexibility with the layout of the trail system.
