Agenda Item Summary:
This project is for the reconstruction of St. Cloud Street from Summit Boulevard to West Boulevard. The existing infrastructure is in poor condition and has exceeded its useful life. The project includes the replacement of approximately 1200 feet of existing 6 inch ductile iron water main with a new 10” PVC water main, which will connect to the existing 10” water main stub near the intersection with West Boulevard; approximately 1100 feet of existing 8” vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewer will be replaced with 8” PVC sanitary sewer main; and roughly 1200 feet of new storm sewer (ranging from 18” to 30” RCP) will be installed along the project corridor to reduce minor flooding to adjacent properties. Street reconstruction includes new curb and gutter throughout the corridor, handicap ramps at all intersections, drive way approaches, and spot repair of sidewalk to facilitate water and sewer service line installations.
