Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Preliminary Subdivision Plan to create 12 commercial lots northwest of the intersection of Mall Drive and N. Maple Avenue. The proposed development is being created from two vacant unplatted properties that are cumulatively 128 acres in size. The proposed lots will range from 1.25 acres to 2.27 acres in size and will be known as Phases 1 and 2 of Almanza Heights Subdivision. A Preliminary Subdivision Plan is a tentative plan of a proposed subdivision requiring the installation of public improvements. Approval of a Preliminary Subdivision Plan by City Council is required before an applicant can proceed with Development Engineering Plans and a Final Plat application for all or part of the area within the Preliminary Subdivision Plan application.
