Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Variance request to reduce the front yard setback from 35 feet to 1 foot and a Variance request to reduce the side yard setback from 5 feet to 4 feet for an accessory structure, located on property at 901 Silver Street. The property is currently developed with a single-family residence, a detached garage, and two accessory structures. The accessory structure in question consists of an approximately 133 square-foot shed located in the front yard of the subject property.The shed was originally located on the property in 1997, and met all setback requirements. Subsequently, in 2008, an addition was constructed on the single-family residence, and the shed was relocated to the current location on the property. Based on the site plan submitted with the Variance application, the shed can be relocated to the rear yard of the property and conform to all area regulations.
