The applicant has submitted a Conditional Use Permit to allow the construction of a greenhouse in the Flood Hazard District in Sioux Park, at 2915 Canyon Lake Drive. Currently, the Rapid City Parks maintenance shop and an existing greenhouse are located in the vicinity of the proposed greenhouse, and are located within the Flood Hazard District. The applicant is proposing to demolish an approximately 2,500 square-foot portion of the existing greenhouse and construct an additional pre-fabricated greenhouse consisting of approximately 4,879 square feet on the property. This would result in an increase of approximately 2,500 square feet of greenhouse space. The area of demolition will be paved to provide parking and storage to replace the area of the proposed greenhouse construction
