Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Revocation of a Planned Development Designation for 3.13 acres of property that is void of structural development. The Planned Development Designation (03PD006) was for an area originally consisting of 25 acres of un-platted property at the time it was created. Since that time, the property within this PDD has been platted, and about 4.5 acres of it has been developed. Lot 1R of I-90 Heartland Business Park Subdivision was created through a Lot Line Adjustment/Consolidation Plat (File# 21PL017). The applicant’s intent is to dissolve the Planned Development Designation and develop the property in compliance with the General Commercial Zoning District. The applicant intends to develop Lots 1R and 2R, and operate a heavy equipment repair and sales business called TranSource Truck and Equipment. Lot 2R sits directly north of Lot 1R. In their letter of intent, the applicant states they will use the subject property for the operation of their heavy equipment business. This revocation will only apply to Lot 1R of I-90 Heartland Business Park Subdivision, and will not revoke any other Planned Development Overlays.
