Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Preliminary Subdivision Plan to subdivide an existing 6.82 acre parcel into two lots to be known as Lots 1 and 2 of Block 1 of Maze Subdivision. Proposed Lot 1 is 3 acres in size and proposed Lot 2 is 3.91 acres in size. The property is located southeast of the intersection of Tucker Street and Mount Rushmore Road. Proposed Lot 1 is currently developed with a mini golf course, two accessory structures, a parking area, and a large wooden maze structure. Proposed Lot 2 is developed with recreational courts and an 821 square-foot accessory structure. A Preliminary Subdivision Plan is a tentative plan of a proposed subdivision requiring the installation of public improvements. Approval of a Preliminary Subdivision Plan by the City Council is required before an applicant can proceed with Development Engineering Plans and a Final Plat application for all or part of the area within the Preliminary Subdivision Plan application.
