Agenda Item Summary:
This ordinance will add the newly annexed areas to the voting precincts so that as residents move into these areas, they are able to vote in the upcoming elections. We have been in discussion with the County as to placement in a voting ward/precinct and have made changes to the ordinance based on their recommendations. All of the updates have been highlighted in yellow. This would add 72 voters to the Rapid City precincts and wards.
