Agenda Item Summary:
This bid package is for the procurement of filter media (sand and anthracite), underdrains, and troughs for the media filters at Mountain View Water Treatment Plant. The existing equipment is far past is useful life and requires replacement. The Water Division has decided to procure this equipment in advance of the project due to the anticipated long lead times. Note: The condition and compatibility of the troughs are currently being evaluated. If the troughs are determined to be compatible with other filter system improvements and are in good condition. We will not procure replacement troughs.
